Office of the Director
Director: Hefty
Director Hefty serves as the principal
legal and investigative authority
of the Hilton Accords, entrusted with
safeguarding the integrity of government
institutions.
In addition to his responsibilities
within this Department, Director Hefty
simultaneously oversees the Department
of Armed Forces.
Questions concerning the independence
of these offices have been reviewed
by the Department of Justice.

The Department maintains that justice
must be administered with integrity,
fairness, restraint, and respect
for the principles of the Hilton Accords.
All persons appearing before the Department
shall be afforded the opportunity to
present their position, provided their
position does not substantially inconvenience
the Director.
Decisions shall be based upon available
evidence, established procedures,
and the Director's interpretation
of both.

Official Case Registry
The Department maintains records
of selected investigations and
administrative proceedings.
Office of Public Complaints
The Department accepts fictional complaints
concerning government operations,
conduct, and matters of administrative concern.
Filing a complaint does not guarantee
investigation, acknowledgment of wrongdoing,
or satisfaction with the outcome.
Office of Judicial Appeals
Individuals dissatisfied with a final
departmental determination may
request reconsideration.
Such requests shall be independently
reviewed by the appellate authority,
Director Hefty.
