Director: Jay

Under the authority of the Office of the President, Director Jay oversees official communications, public messaging, press relations, and the coordination of information across government departments.

The Department is entrusted with ensuring that all statements issued on behalf of the Hilton Accords reflect the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and carefully considered disclosure.

While the government remains committed to transparency, such transparency shall not be interpreted as an obligation to explain every decision, policy, or unusual appointment.

Office of the Press Secretary

The Office of the Press Secretary is responsible for issuing statements concerning developments of national significance and matters requiring official clarification.

The Department conducts regular briefings, subject to availability, executive approval, and whether the Director feels that the questions being asked warrant a response.

Public Information Requests

Citizens and members of the public may submit inquiries regarding government operations, executive policy, and departmental administration.

The Department reserves the right to respond, defer, decline, redirect, or acknowledge receipt without taking any further action.

A Message from Director Jay

The citizens of the Hilton Accords deserve clear, responsible, and timely communication from their government.

As Director of Communications, I remain committed to maintaining a constructive relationship between the administration and the public it serves.

I further recognize that public trust is strengthened through accountability, consistency, and a willingness to address legitimate concerns.

Unfortunately, not every concern submitted to this office is legitimate.

Certain questions have already been answered repeatedly. Others are properly directed to agencies that have expressly declined to respond.

Nevertheless, this Department shall continue its proud tradition of issuing official statements with extraordinary confidence, regardless of whether anyone requested them.
